Great news! After many viewer requests TBN Pacific is now introducing a host of new features and is upgrading its broadcast service to ensure we continue to reach future generations.
The down side is that it affects all our viewers in Australian and New Zealand. Just think of it like when we all switched from analogue, to digital TV. Therefore, a compliant Satellite Receiver and a change of frequency is required for the continuance of service.
Our changeover will be completed by 1ST SEPTEMBER. After that date, if you have not made the change, all your TBN channels screen will be blank (no or bad signal) and you will need to rescan your receiver using the parameters above.
To get started, please submit details of your receiver or alternatively follow the guide below;
Q. HOW DO I START?
A. RETUNE A COMPLIANT SATELLITE RECEIVER TO THE NEW FREQUENCY
THE NEW OPTUS D2 PARAMETERS ARE;
Q. I TRIED RETUNING BUT I CANNOT SEEM TO SEE YOUR CHANNELS?
A. YOUR SATELLITE RECEIVER MAY NOT BE COMPLIANT.
1. TRY A BLIND SCAN/SEARCH OPTION IF AVAILABLE
2. IF YOU RETUNED AND NOTICE IN YOUR CHANNEL LIST ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CHANNELS (TBN PACIFIC, CHURCH TV, JUCE TV, SOAC TV) BUT DO NOT SEE PICTURE THEN MOST LIKELY YOU MAY NEED TO PURCHASE OUR PRE-CONFIGURED COMPLIANT SATELLITE RECEIVER .

More questions? Please see below before you may need to reach us as expected delays are expected due to the high volume of callers...
Q. Does this change affects me?
A. This upgrade affects viewers in Australia and New Zealand whom watch TBN, The Church Channel, JUCE TV & SOAC TV.
Q. Ok, so when will that happen?
A. The signal is scheduled to go off air by the 1st of September. To avoid signal loss, all viewers will need to retune and have a complaint satellite receiver. If you're not sure, contact us to learn more.
Q. Can my existing Satellite Receiver be retuned?
A. You will need a compliant Satellite Receiver in order to retune to the new frequencies. If you have a user manual you may try and retune to the new frequency.
Q. Will your new features work with my Satellite Receiver?
A. Unfortunately there are too many different makes and models out there so we cannot say if any of our features will be accessible. We can only assure our viewers that all features and future updates will only work with our Satellite Receiver.
Q. What about my favourite Christian channels, will I be able to watch them through your new Satellite Receiver?
A. Absolutely! Our receiver is backward compatible so you get to watch all your favourite Christian Channels!
Q. Well hang on, will I need to purchase another receiver again or retune in the future?
A. When you purchase a Satellite Receiver from us, all future frequency changes, updates and new services that become available will be automatically sent over the air via our satellite signal or USB device.
This essentially means no call out fees from a technician and little or no human intervention to make changes to your Satellite Receiver. Purchasing our Satellite Receivers will ensure future quality of service.
(Subject to the services remaining on Optus D2).
Q. How will this new platform make way for future generations?
A. The internet has quickly changed our world. Smart phones now exceed the world population and with the rise of smart TV’s and other devices people have more options of how they can interact through media. We’re already working on the next release. This is the first step we must take to make way for the future. Let’s make that change together!
